In 1999, the addition of the instruction for dancers aged 4-12 made Cheremosh technique available to an even wider range of pupils. Throughout the dance season, children will learn basic ballet and/or character barre, as well as simple Ukrainian dances. Dancers have goals to work toward and events to look forward to, as they have performances two or three times a year. An early start in dance training gives children valuable skills and builds their confidence. The Cheremosh School of Dance is a welcoming, positive and affordable means to introduce children to the beauty of Ukrainian dance.
